Bowling Green at Gosford Park

Still a green and pleasant view in 2022, but the sport is a little more active! Where once was a bowling green at Gosford Park we now have a basketball court - but we share the same view towards the rear of properties in Hugh Road.

The photograph above was taken in the 1920s, during which time the Stoke and Gosford Park Bowling Clubs, among others, used the green.
